Just like you, thousands of others are looking for a quick resolution forever alleviating them from this obligation. Most people realize after the fact that purchasing a timeshare was NOT a real estate investment. Perhaps yours no longer meets your vacation needs. Timeshare is a lifestyle luxury that generally decreases in value while liability for maintenance fees and taxes continue to rise on an annual basis. Of course, some developments within a resort family such as Disney Vacation Club, Hilton Grand Vacations Club and others retain value. However, the vast majority of timeshare intervals are extremely difficult to sell on the secondary market and the longer you wait the more you continue to pay. We offer a unique program regardless of your situation.
Ask questions and make sure you are dealing with people that have a proven track record. We and our affiliates are those people. We guarantee it.
Q: What does it mean to “qualify”?
A: All timeshares are not created equal. The fact that demand is for higher quality resorts, in the best destinations almost goes without saying. The companies with whom we work have interest only in particular properties and not others. If your unit meets their criteria (i.e. qualifies), we will work on your behalf. Our pledge is to not make any false promises or mislead you. We give you information candidly. The timeshare marketplace is changing rapidly, therefore the list of timeshares that we can inventory on trade also changes frequently so you have to contact us now to confirm current needs and avoid the possibility of paying yet another maintenance fee. Contact us to receive an honest evaluation of your options. Even if your resort does not qualify for the proposed services, our consultants will provide you with the professional direction and solutions that other companies cannot. This advice is provided as a courtesy, so please contact us now…there is no obligation and our service is 100% guaranteed.
Q: Does your company charge an upfront fee with a promise to sell our property?
A: No. We are not a listing company that promises to sell your property at unrealistic “ballooned” prices. We do not make false promises that the market is “hot” and there are buyers waiting for your properties. Timeshare is a luxury item that depreciates in value while increasing liability (fees) on an annual basis. Do some timeshare have value? Yes, however, those are few and far between and even those are becoming more and more difficult to sell on the open market.
Q: How long does the entire process take?
A: From the date of your agreement with us, you will receive your paperwork that day once these documents are properly executed. The Deed is sent to the County Recorder for recordation of the Deed Once the Deed is returned from the county, the recorded Deed is then forwarded to the resort along with any applicable resort transfer fees billed to you by your resort for acknowledgment of transfer. On average, the entire process takes up to 180 days. Please note that some transfer times may vary based on the location of your property and resort transfer requirements. Some take less time, others more, again, this is only an average.
Q: Do I have to notify the resort that I am no longer the owner?
A: No, this is part of our service. Once Choice Properties Inc.records the Deed or receives your executed Membership Transfer Paperwork, they will forward this information to your home resort for acknowledgement of transfer along with any pertinent documents. Resort transfer fees will then be billed yo you by your resort.
